Roswell International Air Center is a public-use airport located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of the central business district of Roswell, in Chaves County, New Mexico, United States. It is owned by the city and county. The airport covers an area of 0.5 square miles (1.3 km²), all of it land.

Roswell International Air Center was founded as a military airfield by the United States Army Air Forces, initially designated "Tularosa Army Air Field". Two months after World War II ended in Europe, a rancher named Walter Haut reported seeing a strange light in the sky near his home in Roswell, New Mexico. He contacted the U.S. military who sent out two teams to investigate; one team found nothing while the other uncovered a crashed flying saucer on top of a hill near his property. The crash site became known worldwide as "Roswell" and became the focus of intense government secrecy for many years afterward.
